Washington [US]: Study Finds Nasal Spray Might Help With Sleep Apnea

A remedy in development for obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA) confirmed promising results after being tested in people for the first time by using Flinders University researchers.

Designed to prevent the narrowing or collapse of the upper airways for the duration of sleep, a key element in OSA, the treatment could show to be a capacity alternative for certain human beings with OSA to non-stop positive airway pressure (CPAP) machines, which can best be tolerated via approximately half of all OSA patients.
